Year 2009 – In August, by faith, God lead Pastor Joshua and some co-workers to begin the new church planting (Golden Lampstand Baptist Church) at Sutera Utama, Johor Bahru, thanks to the help of John Massey (IMB) and Hosanna Baptist Church.
Year 2011 – In July, GLBC formally joined the Malaysia Baptist Convention. In 2nd half of the year, GLBC experienced a great spiritual trial. However, God reserved some of His faithful leaders and thereafter, the Kingdom of God started to grow at GLBC.
Year 2012 – It’s a year of Growing. GLBC began with more systematic training for members to fulfill His great commandment and great commission. We, family of GLBC, have only one objective, to bring people to Christ’s family, to grow into maturity, and equip to become the true disciple and messenger of Christ.
